2026 Elddis Whirlwind GTV 563—the flagship model in the Whirlwind line-up, designed to deliver maximum comfort and practicality. Built on the dependable Peugeot Boxer 2.2L 140 BHP engine, it comes with a smooth 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, with the option to upgrade to an effortless 8-speed automatic (additional costs apply). At 6.36 metres, this is the longest vehicle in the range, offering a generous interior while still being straightforward to drive and manoeuvre. With capacity for four passengers to travel and three to sleep, it’s an excellent fit for adventurous couples or smaller families. Weighing in at 3,500kg, it can be driven on a regular UK car licence.
Inside, the GTV 563 combines light wood finishes with contrasting dark upholstery for a fresh, modern look. At the front, the dinette includes two belted seats and easily converts into a spacious single bed. At the rear, you’ll find a fixed double bed that folds upright, giving direct access through the rear barn doors. Beneath, a large garage area provides plenty of storage for holiday essentials. As standard the van is a 3-berth, but by adding an optional pop-top roof, you can extend this to a 5-berth for extra flexibility (additional costs apply).
Everyday living is made easy with well-planned facilities. The nearside kitchen is fitted with a Thetford 420 gas oven, 2-burner hob, and a 90L Thetford fridge. Opposite, the bathroom features a stylish washbowl with a click-clack plug, a retractable tap/shower head, and a Thetford toilet with automatic flush connected to the onboard water tank. Heating and hot water are managed by the Truma Combi 4 system, which is efficient, lightweight, and space-saving. A 10-litre water tank is integrated and insulated for winter use, while in summer the hot water can be heated independently of the cabin heating.
The GTV 563 also comes generously equipped with a wide range of standard features. These include a Grey exterior finish, a DAB multimedia pack with steering wheel controls. It is also fitted with a 90L diesel tank, 100L fresh water tank, and 90L waste tank. For added convenience, you’ll find an electric entry step, wind-out awning, bed conversion, wooden shower grate, gas bottle storage, and USB wiring prepared for a solar panel.
