Motorhome/ Caravan Technician at Flintshire

Role

Motorhome / Caravan Technician

We are seeking a skilled Motorhome / Caravan Technician to carry out servicing, repairs, and accessory installations on motorhomes and campervans.

In this role, you will work on habitation systems, vehicle accessories, and pre-delivery preparation to ensure every vehicle is safe, fully functional, and ready for customers.

This position is ideal for technicians who enjoy varied work beyond standard vehicle servicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out habitation services in line with Industry standards
• Diagnose faults within electrical, water, heating, and appliance systems
• Work on both 12V and 240V electrical systems
• Perform damp inspections and interior repairs
• Install accessories such as solar panels, awnings, alarms, and cameras
• Diagnose battery and charging system issues
• Complete accurate repair reports and job documentation
• Prepare vehicles for sale and customer handover
• Work closely with Service Advisors and customers to resolve issues

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Motorhome, Caravan, or Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Good knowledge of 12V and 240V electrical systems
• Basic plumbing and interior repair abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• High attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable (Not Essential)

• NCC / AWS habitation certification
• LPG or gas qualifications
• Experience installing motorhome accessories
• Experience working with multiple motorhome manufacturers

Service Technician - Vacancies at all 3 branches

Role

Fancy a role in one of our busy workshops? We are looking for someone to join each of our Service teams.

Spinney Motorhomes & Caravans are the biggest and the best in the North West with three state of the art dealerships based in Cheshire,Staffordshire and Flintshire (Address available on the contact us page) offering the very best in all things travel. We are a family run company with family ethics throughout all areas of the business.

Due to our continuous growth we are currently seeking full time service technicians to join our busy teams.

Ideally experienced in this line of work or possessing similar transferable skills the successful applicant must have a hands on, ‘can-do’ attitude with previous experience and confidence to work with a variety of tools.

The ability to learn, problem solve, be confident in speaking and dealing with customers and the capability to be flexible will also be advantageous.

Above all, we are looking for a dedicated, motivated and hardworking character who is, by nature hands on and ready to embark on a career with Spinney at this busy and exciting time. Possessing your own basic tools would be required but other specific tools are provided as well as specific training. Clean, current driving license essential.
