Introducing the 2026 Elddis Whirlwind GTV 560, a stylish van conversion designed with practicality and comfort in mind. Powered by the dependable Peugeot Boxer 2.2L 140 BHP engine, at just 5.99m in length, this motorhome is simple to handle and park, yet it still offers space for four passengers to travel and three to sleep—an ideal balance for couples or small families. With a maximum weight of 3,500kg, it can be driven on a standard UK car licence.
Inside, the GTV 560 boasts a bright, contemporary interior, combining light wood finishes with bold, dark upholstery for a modern contrast. The front dinette includes two belted travel seats and quickly transforms into a roomy single bed. At the rear, you’ll find a fixed double bed that folds upright to provide through-access via the barn doors, creating a generous garage space below for storing adventure gear. As standard, the van is a 3-berth, but you can add a pop-top roof (additional costs apply) to increase capacity to 5 berths if desired.
The kitchen and washroom facilities are cleverly designed for efficiency and comfort. The kitchen includes a Thetford 420 gas oven with a 2-burner hob, plus a 90L Thetford fridge. Across the aisle, the bathroom features a modern washbowl with click-clack plug, a combined retractable tap/shower head, and a Thetford toilet with auto-fill flush from the onboard water tank. Heating and hot water are provided by the Truma Combi 4 system, which is lightweight and space-saving. The integrated 10-litre water tank is insulated for winter use and can be heated separately from the living area in warmer months.
The Whirlwind GTV 560 comes well-equipped with a range of standard features: Grey exterior paint, a DAB multimedia system with steering wheel controls, and a 90L diesel tank. It also includes a 100L freshwater tank, a 90L waste tank, and useful touches such as an electronic entry step, wind-out awning, bed conversion kit, and wooden shower grate. Additional conveniences include gas bottle storage and USB wiring ready for solar panel installation.
