Jess is the newest member of our sales team within Spinney Staffordshire and we’ve asked her some questions to introduce herself. Some of you may have already had the pleasure of meeting Jess but for those who haven’t, here are her answers to get to know her a bit better…

Introduce yourself…

Well as you already know, my name is Jess and I’m the new sales executive here at Spinney Staffordshire. I was previously an apprentice as a sales executive/customer service (level 2) at Cara Motorhomes. I really enjoyed my time there and learned a lot which helped me get to where I am today.

What are the best thing about working in this industry?

There are a many things I love including the variety of the role, the mixture of different tasks which make every day different, seeing the excitement on customers’ faces, meeting different people from all over the country, the job satisfaction but most importantly helping people enjoy life and experience their dreams.

Being female, in what is seen as a male dominated industry, do you believe there are certain challenges you face/have faced?

No, personally it goes in my favour but in rare cases some people can judge my ability because of my age and gender, however having the support from my male colleagues gives me and the customers more confidence.

Last one, just for fun! In your opinion, what three items are a ‘must have’ on a camping trip?

The choice of only three things is a difficult one but I’d say it’s all about the chilled/relaxed vibe for me therefore I’d have to choose a BBQ point, deck chairs and an awning for that little extra space.

Jess has settled in very well and has already completed a number of handovers including the one pictured with the Maginnis family.
