The Merlin 112 is a two-berth campervan with four travelling seats and a rear double bed. It’s built on the medium wheelbase Fiat Ducato, with the bed positioned above a useful rear garage area. This gives you a compact layout for two while retaining space for touring equipment underneath the bed.
The Merlin 212 adds four-berth accommodation to the medium wheelbase Merlin layout, with four travelling seats and a rear double. An elevating roof provides a second double bed, creating additional sleeping space without taking over the main living area. The rear double also sits above a garage area, so there’s room underneath for larger items of touring equipment.
The Merlin 122 features a rear wrap-around lounge that can be used as sleeping space when required. It has two berths and two travelling seats, with a rear make-up double or rear single beds. The layout gives you plenty of room at the rear during the day, making it a good option if you value lounge space as much as sleeping flexibility.
The Merlin 144 is a two-berth model with four travelling seats and a rear double bed. Its rear lounge area provides a comfortable space to use during the day, with the sleeping arrangement created when you’re ready to turn in. It’s based on the long wheelbase Fiat Ducato, giving the layout more interior space.
The Merlin 244 builds on the rear lounge arrangement of the 144, adding four-berth accommodation and an elevating roof. It has four travelling seats, a rear double, and a pop-top double bed. The result is a long wheelbase campervan with a flexible rear living area and extra sleeping capacity when you’re travelling with more people.
The Merlin 164 provides two berths and four travelling seats, with a rear double bed measuring 6’2″ x 4’9″. Its extra-long wheelbase layout places the high-level double bed above a larger garage area measuring 1620mm x 1180mm x 950mm. That additional storage capacity makes the 164 particularly useful if you travel with bikes, outdoor equipment or other bulky touring kit.
The Merlin 264 adds four-berth accommodation to the extra-long wheelbase layout, with an elevating roof for additional sleeping space. It has four travelling seats, a rear double bed and a pop-top double bed. The result is a spacious campervan with flexible sleeping capacity when you’re travelling with more people.
The Merlin 174 is a two-berth layout with four travelling seats and a rear sleeping arrangement that can be configured as either a double or two singles. This model has an extra-long wheelbase that gives you the option to keep the rear sleeping area as two separate beds when that suits your touring style.
The Merlin 274 offers four berths and four travelling seats, with a rear layout that can provide either a double or two single beds. The rear converts to a double at night or alternatively single beds; the elevating roof adds a further double bed. As an extra-long wheelbase model, it combines flexible sleeping arrangements with the additional interior length needed for four-berth touring.
Choose the layout around how you travel
There are nine Merlin layouts to choose from, with the range covering medium, long and extra-long wheelbase Fiat Ducato models. The shorter layouts provide a compact set-up with either a rear double bed or rear lounge arrangement, while the longer models introduce additional sleeping flexibility and, on selected layouts, an elevating roof. Four-berth models also give you a pop-top double bed, making it possible to accommodate more sleepers without permanently using the main living area for beds.
Lithium power as standard
Every Swift Merlin comes with a 100Ah lithium leisure battery as standard, giving you more usable power for time away from the campsite. Lithium technology also weighs less than traditional battery systems and charges faster, while its longer service life makes it well suited to regular touring. The system is compatible with solar charging, so you can add another way to keep your onboard electrical supply topped up when travelling off-grid. It’s a useful upgrade to have included from the outset, particularly if you spend time away from mains electricity.
