The new 2027 Whirlwind GT & GTS range from Elddis provides exceptional touring value and function for an everyday affordable price. With stunning layouts from two to six-berths, there is a choice for both small and larger families.
The Whirlwind GT 70DS uses its rear section for two longitudinal single beds, giving each traveller their own sleeping space while keeping the bedroom easy to access. The beds can also be brought together to form a larger double when preferred, so the layout works well for couples who want a choice of sleeping arrangements. At the front, the lounge provides the main daytime seating area, with the kitchen and washroom positioned between the living space and rear bedroom.
The Whirlwind GT 74DS gives you two rear single beds that run across the rear sleeping area and can be converted into one larger double. This arrangement leaves a generous central living area and gives each side of the bedroom its own access, while the separate shower and toilet help keep the washroom practical when two people are getting ready. The front lounge provides a comfortable place to sit during the day, with the kitchen positioned between the lounge and rear bedroom. Below the beds, the large garage gives you somewhere to carry larger touring equipment.
The Whirlwind GT 74DI is the island-bed layout in the range, with a fixed double positioned across the rear of the motorhome. Its central bedroom arrangement gives you access around both sides of the bed, making it easier to get in and out while giving the rear of the vehicle a more conventional bedroom feel. The lounge sits towards the front, while the kitchen and washroom occupy the central area. The longer 7.4m body also leaves useful space for the rear garage beneath the bedroom.
The Whirlwind GTS 66DS makes good use of its 6.63m length, with two rear single beds providing flexible sleeping space at the back of the motorhome. The beds can be used individually or brought together to create a larger sleeping area, while the front lounge gives you somewhere to sit and relax during the day. The kitchen and washroom sit between the two areas, keeping the main facilities within easy reach. The rear garage provides additional room for touring kit beneath the beds.
The longer GTS 70CS gives you extra length to work with while maintaining the slim 2.2m-wide body. The rear sleeping area uses longitudinal single beds, giving couples separate beds at night with the option to create a larger sleeping area when required. Further forward, the lounge provides the main seating area, with the kitchen and washroom arranged through the centre of the vehicle. The rear garage adds useful storage without taking space away from the living area.
Designed for comfortable touring
The Elddis Whirlwind GT range gives you a choice of practical layouts designed around comfortable touring, with plenty of space to relax when you’re away from home. Each model has been planned with everyday usability in mind, from the front lounge and well-equipped kitchen through to the dedicated sleeping areas and generous garage storage. The different floorplans give you the flexibility to choose how you want your bedroom arranged, whether you prefer single beds or an island bed. Built on the Peugeot Boxer chassis, the GT combines a familiar driving experience with the space you’d expect from a larger coachbuilt motorhome.
A slimmer approach to touring
The Whirlwind GTS brings the same comfortable approach to motorhome touring in a more compact 2.2m-wide body. Its slimmer dimensions make it easier to handle on narrower roads and in busy town centres, while the carefully planned layouts make good use of the available interior space. The 66DS and 70CS both offer 2 to 3 berths, with practical living areas, onboard cooking and washroom facilities, and useful storage for trips away. For couples looking for a coachbuilt motorhome that’s easier to manoeuvre without giving up the facilities needed for touring, the GTS is a strong option.
