Here at Spinney, out sales teams have plenty of new customers asking for recommendations on which campsites or leisure parks to visit first. We also have plenty of customers who want to share their amazing travel experiences with us. So, during the next five weeks of the summer holidays, we will share with you our favourites.

Week number one, destination number one – The Plassey Holiday Park.

We have discovered that the Plassey is a perfect family leisure park which is nestled into 250 acres of park and woodland area within the Dee Valley in North Wales. But what makes it one of our top five?

With high-quality, spacious pitches for both touring caravans and motorhomes which include electric, water and a TV hook up, what more could you need?

Well, how about a spot of retail therapy in the unique Edwardian buildings which host a range of boutiques, handmade crafts to hair and beauty salons? If that doesn’t float your boat, how about a round of golf on their 9 hole golf course or just a pitch and putt? Now this is where some may stop and say “they’re having a laugh, we can’t do that with the kids/family”, so here are more realistic suggestions for the families…
