Exclusive Preview: Bailey’s new Endeavour campervan
Published: 21st November 2023 Last updated 6 months ago
One of the country’s most highly regarded leisure vehicle manufacturers is soon to showcase its exciting new campervan at Spinney’s Cheshire branch.
Bailey launched the Endeavour at the massive Caravan & Motorhome Show in Birmingham in October, and it represents the Bristol company’s first foray into the panel van conversion market. Available in two models, the Endeavour is a worthy debut – and we are lucky to have been able to secure a special preview showcase of both editions on behalf of Spinney customers. This exclusive opportunity to experience one of the most remarkable new season vehicles ‘in the flesh’ runs Wednesday 29th November to Sunday 3rd December.
That’s not the only good news – also showcasing at the same time will be an example of Bailey’s stunning Alora motorhome.
This is a streamlined addition to Bailey’s impressive motorhome line-up, and offers travellers the flexibility of a van conversion with the comfort of a coachbuilt. The Alora is available in three layouts, each 7m long, 2.12m wide and with a MTPLM of 3,500kg (so suitable to drive for anyone with a standard UK driving licence) – the model on show at Spinney is the 69-4I. This three-berth edition features two or four travel seats, a parallel seat front lounge, central kitchen and washroom, rear bedroom (with double island bed) and a spacious garage.
The Endeavour
The Endeavour is a true all-rounder – as perfectly suited to providing a comfortable on the road holiday home as it is to being a convenient all-year use as a day-to-day runner.
Exterior and driving cab
It’s immediately apparent that Bailey have provided something special with the Endeavour – the exterior’s smart Chrome Blue finish creates a sleek and stylish impression which carries over into the interior.
Constructed on a Ford Transit chassis powered by a 2.0-liter 155 bhp engine with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, the Endeavour provides a solid and reliable time at the wheel for any driver. A vast range of features enhance the experience, and these include air conditioning, cruise control, rear-view camera, plus parking sensors. A high-quality infotainment system featuring touchscreen HD display (in colour) with inbuilt satellite navigation, Bluetooth facility, USB connectivity and a digital radio.
Interior of the Endeavour
The living space of the Endeavour feels luxurious, and features top quality finishes and materials – Light Oak, Satin Cashmere, and Anthracite furniture, plus Apollo soft furnishings and Hazelnut drop-in carpets. An overcab sunroof bathes the campervan in natural light, creating an ambience, and the flush-fit double-glazed tinted windows include pleated flyscreens and night blinds so that privacy can remain intact when it’s time to sleep.
The kitchen of the Endeavour is well-appointed, with a Thetford Triplex combi oven and grill, a 90-litre fridge, a sink with a mixer tap, a worktop extension and ample storage for kitchen equipment and foodstuffs. Amenities in the wetroom include essentials such as a shower (Ecocamel) and Thetford cassette toilet. The washroom benefits from a revolving tambour partition, creating more space in a relatively compact area. The Endeavour’s Truma heating and hot water system will keep domestic life ticking over and all passengers cosy and warm as and when required, while the 100-watt solar panel and leisure battery combine to offer roof-lifers the option of authentic self-sufficiency for off-grid adventures.
Models of the Endeavour
There are two models in the Endeavour range. The B62 is the two-berth edition and contains a customisable rear social lounge which can be converted into a double bed or used as twin singles. The B64 is the four-berth version of the Endeavour, and features up to four travel seats, with four berths available too. The convertible front lounge (with either a double bed or two singles arising from it) plus a second double in the pop-top roof complete the convenient accommodation picture, providing great options.
Don’t miss out on the chance to check out the new Endeavour and Alora. Here at Spinney we are very proud to have these truly terrific 2024 editions from Bailey right here with us for this showcase. Remember the dates: Wednesday 29th November to Sunday 3rd December – and get on board with two of the most on point leisure vehicles of 2024.
