For those who want to make more of their weekends, holidays and time away, this 2021 Swift Challenger X 880 offers a wonderfully inviting way to enjoy touring with family or friends. Designed around a comfortable four-berth layout, it combines the freedom to explore with the reassurance of having a beautifully equipped space to return to at the end of the day. At 7.54m long, this single-axle tourer has an impressive presence while remaining practical for touring, with a transverse bed providing a dedicated sleeping area and a spacious end washroom giving you the comfort and privacy that can make all the difference on longer stays.
Inside, the Challenger X 880 is designed to feel like a genuine home from home, whether you’re settling in after a day exploring the countryside or enjoying a relaxed evening together. The front lounge benefits from a panoramic Skyscape sunroof, creating a bright and airy atmosphere during the day, while the large Heki rooflight, blinds and flyscreens add to the sense of comfort. When it’s time to relax, the lounge provides a welcoming space for conversation, dining or simply putting your feet up, with loose-lay carpets helping to create a warm and homely feel.
The well-equipped kitchen makes self-catering on tour a pleasure, with a full oven, electric hotplate, fridge freezer, microwave, high-flow submersible pump and useful kitchen worktop extension. Whether you’re preparing a quick breakfast before heading out or enjoying a leisurely meal back at the caravan, everything is conveniently arranged. Gas and electric heating, Grade 3 insulation and a battery charger provide comfort throughout the seasons, while the solar panel adds an extra level of independence when you’re enjoying quieter locations away from the usual campsite facilities.
The transverse bedroom provides a comfortable retreat at the end of the day, while the excellent end washroom is particularly appealing for longer touring adventures, offering a cassette toilet and separate shower alongside the facilities you need to start and finish each day in comfort. Practical touches continue throughout, including USB charging points, TV aerial, external mains socket, door flyscreen and ample lighting, while the alarm, alloy wheels, spare wheel and wheel carrier provide useful reassurance when you’re travelling.
Built using Swift’s SMART construction with durable GRP body panels, this Challenger X 880 combines the freedom of touring with the comforts you would expect from a well-appointed holiday home. With a 1,642kg MTPLM, 156kg estimated payload, 2.61m overall height and 2.45m width, it offers an excellent balance of space and usability. Available from our Northamptonshire branch, stock number 25678, this used 2021 Swift Challenger X 880 is ready to turn ordinary weekends into opportunities to escape, explore and spend more quality time together.
